  • Always log out from WhatsApp Web if you are using a shared computer or one that others have access to. Check periodically in the WhatsApp mobile app under WhatsApp Web to see if there are sessions you don't recognize, and log out if necessary.

  • Regularly review and adjust your privacy settings for Last Seen, Profile Photo, About, Status, and Read Receipts to control who sees your information. Go to Settings > Account > Privacy to make these changes.

  • Regularly check for any unknown devices linked to your account through WhatsApp Web/Desktop. You can see and disconnect any sessions you don’t recognize
