Every month follow these tips to ensure your vehicle remains free from trackers and tracking tiles.
Regularly check OBD-II Port: One of the first places to check inside the car. The OBD-II port is usually located under the dashboard on the driver’s side. Trackers plugged into this port can draw power directly from the vehicle.
Bluetooth trackers like AirTags emit a sound after being separated from their owner for an extended period. If you suspect a tracker might be hidden in your belongings, listen carefully for any periodic beeping or ringing sounds.
Regularly scan for tracking tiles. For iPhone Users: iOS has a feature called "Item Safety Alerts" that can detect if an unknown AirTag or Find My network device is moving with you over time and alert you. Make sure this feature is enabled in your Find My app settings. For Android Users: Google Play Store offers several apps designed to detect nearby Bluetooth devices. Apps like "AirGuard" can help identify potential unknown tracking devices around you.
