Every month follow these tips to ensure you remain safe from and when using Apple AirTags.
Periodically inspect your belongings, car, and other personal items for any unfamiliar objects. Given the small size of AirTags, they can be hidden in many places.
Bluetooth trackers like AirTags emit a sound after being separated from their owner for an extended period. If you suspect a tracker might be hidden in your belongings, listen carefully for any periodic beeping or ringing sounds.
Regularly scan for AirTags. For iPhone Users: iOS has a feature called "Item Safety Alerts" that can detect if an unknown AirTag or Find My network device is moving with you over time and alert you. Make sure this feature is enabled in your Find My app settings. For Android Users: Google Play Store offers several apps designed to detect nearby Bluetooth devices. Apps like "AirGuard" can help identify potential unknown tracking devices around you.
